There aren’t many girls who, at some stage, haven’t hosted a tea party made up of dolls and teddy bears, and imaginary treats. Well, for your little girl’s birthday, why not spoil her with a real birthday tea party? This is a simple party to set up and will go down so well with any little girl. You can play games and eat birthday treats and even make her a glittering crown to wear.
Making the most of a princess tea party means using your imagination. There are so many things you can do to make the princess tea party more realistic, like printing a large poster that looks like a castle, or even a castle door, in front of which you take pictures of all the attendees. If you have the money, hire a white horse. If not, use a toy white horse. Fashion a sceptre for your child out of old toilet rolls and foil. Give her plastic rings and necklaces and make her feel like a real princess for a day. If you have the resources, you can even rent a jumping castle for the day.
A princess tea party can be a really magical event for any little girl. All you need is a little bit of imagination to make every girl who attends feel really special. At the party, be sure to take lots of photos and play lots of games to keep the children entertained. Try to use foods that seem princess like, or decorate them in that way. Drape all of the chairs with white cotton sheets and hang decorations to make your living room see more like a castle.
The most important thing on the day is to ensure your daughter feels like a princess. When you print the pictures after the event, why not put them into a scrapbook using princess imagery? Using stars, glitter and all manner of things, you can keep the memory of being a princess for a day alive for your child forever. And when she looks back at the pictures, she and her friends will remember it as a day they felt special.
